Holiday Golf has registered in Spain’s Integrated Industrial Register (RII) under two headings: Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE), registration number 19662, and Batteries and Accumulators, registration number 7705.
The registration covers the products in our catalogue that fall under this regulation: Garmin watches and accessories, CaddyTalk rangefinders, and MGI and Big Max electric trolleys. It guarantees that their management and recycling meet current Spanish law.
What it means for our customers
“This registration reinforces our commitment to sustainability and provides our customers with the assurance that all our products comply with current regulations,” says Stefan Tjellander, CEO of Holiday Golf.
With inspections and penalties tightening across the sector, buying an electronic product from a registered distributor removes a risk from the shop that stocks it.
Beyond compliance
- Biodegradable bamboo tees, replacing the plastic ones on the course.
- Solar power at our own facilities, covering a large part of what the building consumes.
- A polymer roof coating that cuts seasonal temperature swings inside the warehouse by around five degrees, and with them the heating and cooling load.
